Care Manager Certification
ALCA does not offer Certification to its members; however, ALCA does recognize four certifications provided by three certifying bodies:
All ALCA members who aspire to be recognized as Advanced level members must hold at least one of the four certifications in addition to education and work experience requirements. (Certification, education, and experience requirements for membership have been approved by the ALCA Board of Directors and ratified by the Membership).
Advanced Level Members have the opportunity be recognized as “Certified” in the Find an Aging Life Care Expert Search. Advanced Level Members and those who hold a Fellow designation also receive free access to live clinical webinars and recorded conference podcasts.

Continuing Education Contact Hours (CE Contact Hours)
ALCA applies for Continuing Education (CE) contact hours for the Annual Conference and Clinical Webinar Series from the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM), Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and the California Board of Registered Nursing in order to assist our members in meeting the necessary continuing education requirements for re-certification.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CE CERTIFICATES:
When registering for a CE approved event be sure to preorder your certificate. Preordered certificates are included in the registration fee and will be provided to you at the conclusion of the event. Replacement certificates will be available following the event at a cost of $25.00 each.
