Do you know how to protect yourself and your clients during an earthquake, hurricane or flood? What about a tornado or fire? Or extreme winter weather? We hope you won’t ever need it, but chances are you might - and this experienced group of Aging Life Care Professionals® will share first-hand experience what you need to know to prepare for and how to handle the effects of these emergency situations. They will also share the new Business Contingency Planning Standard as well as the Standard for Continuity of Service. They will also discuss what you need to do in order to maintain the ability to operate and support clients and staff during and after an emergency and to guide recovery efforts as quickly as possible.

Liz Barlowe, MA, CMC is the President of Barlowe and Associates an Aging Life Care Management company in Tampa Bay, FL. Liz is a Fellow of the Leadership Academy of ALCA, currently serves on the ALCA Board of Directors and is the co-committee chair of the ALCA Chapter President’s Committee. She has been a past recipient of the Outstanding Chapter Member Award.

Dianne McGraw, LCSW, CMC is founder and owner of Home Care Solutions since 1991 in New Orleans. Her company provides geriatric care management specializing in assessment, family consultation and tailored care for elderly and disabled individuals, as well as non-medical sitter/companion services specializing in Alzheimer’s disease. Dianne is the Past President of the Aging Life Care Association® (2017 and 2000). In 2005 she received the Adele Elkind Award from ALCA for Distinguished and Professional Service in Aging Life Care Management at the local and national levels. She has been a past recipient of the Outstanding Chapter Member Award.

Cancellation Policy
The registration fee for webinars is non-refundable. Registrants who are not able to attend the webinar will receive audio & video files following the event. In the unfortunate event that a webinar needs to be cancelled or rescheduled ALCA will notify the registrant by email and provide information on the new date or alternative arrangements. If the registrant is not able to attend the new date ALCA will refund the registration fee or place a credit towards a future event.
