Suzanne Modigliani, a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, earned her master's in social work from Boston University. She has over 40 years’ experience working with families have included positions in child welfare, adoption, mental health, home health, and nursing home consultation. She has run a successful solo Aging Life Care/geriatric care management practice for 20 years in the Boston area.
Suzanne has been quoted in numerous national publications. She was medical co-editor of the Harvard Medical School's Caregiver Handbook. Ms. Modigliani has taught at the Boston University School of Social Work Professional Education Program. She was published in the Journal of Geriatric Care Management.
Suzanne Modigliani, LICSW, CMC, served on the Board of Directors of the Aging Life Care Association (formerly the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers) for eight years where she is a fellow. She is a former President of the New England Chapter, and 2009 Outstanding Chapter Member Award recipient. In 2012 she was the recipient of the 2012 Adele Elkind Award – ALCA’s most prestigious award bestowed upon a member who has greatly contributed to the national and local levels of service in the field of Aging Life Care/geriatric care management.
