An Overview of Frontotemporal Dementias
Presented by Katie Brandt, MM and Brad Dickerson, MD, MMSc, this webinar will provide the Aging Life Care Professional® with a better understanding of Frontotemporal Disorders (FTD) and related non-Alzheimer’s dementia and young-onset and atypical Alzheimer’s Disease.
Learning Objectives:
1. Recognize the characteristics and how to diagnose the major types of Frontotemporal Disorders.
2. Understand the specialized care needs of this population and the benefits of an interdisciplinary approach to care.
3. Identify how engagement with advocacy can provide avenues for healing, hope and empowerment for families living life with dementia.
