Jack Herndon, MBA, has over 20 years of experience in marketing, management, and business development roles in companies ranging from Fortune 1000 organizations to start up organizations (for profit and not-for-profit). He and his wife Nina manage Sage Eldercare Solutions www.SageEldercare.com, the Bay Area's leading eldercare practice focused on care management, home care services, and therapeutic activities for older adults. In addition, Jack has taught care mangers thru the University of Florida certificate program (Ethical, Legal and Business Aspects of GCM) and is co-author of the chapter in the Geriatric Care Manager Handbook “Adding GCM to a Home Care Agency”. He is a founding board member and former Treasurer of the San Francisco Village www.SFVillage.org. He recently published The Hospital Discharge Organizer and has led numerous workshops for families and professionals (elder law attorneys, fiduciaries, etc) navigating the eldercare maze. Jack’s speaking engagements include the National Association of Aging Life Care Managers, the American Society on Aging, the California Association of Health Services at Home, the San Francisco Estate Planning Council, and the San Francisco chapter of Certified Financial Planners. Mr. Herndon earned his BA from Brown University and his MBA from Stanford University.

Her book Handbook of Geriatric Care Management, Jones and Bartlett, considered by some the bible of geriatric care management, was published in the 4th edition in 2015. Her book, Care Managers, working with the Aging Family, Jones and Bartlett, is one of the few major books on the aging family.
